Nasdaq Data Link’s data products come in various formats delivered through different API access options. It is important to understand the differences in product formats and which API to use for each product. The left-hand menu lists the different APIs which includes information on how to authenticate for each API delivery option:
- Streaming API for real-time data
- REST API for real-time or delayed data
- REST API for time-series data
- REST API for tables data
Each dataset product page on Nasdaq Data Link has a panel on the right showing basic information about that data product, including which API to use for that product. See examples below.
